OOTD : BAT WING SLEEVES AND DISTRESSED DENIMS

Ah October! My favourite time of the year. The air is crisp, the sky looks blue, a little chill in the air (though not much), and not to mention the season of festivals.Although we Indians celebrate festivals all year around, but there's no festival like the festival of lights.Diwali is definitely my favourite of the many festivals we celebrate.Maybe because the world looks so beautiful with all those lights and decorations.Did I mention I absolutely hate the dark?

Before we get into Diwali mood,I wanted to do a casual outfit post for you people. It was bae's birthday and this is what I wore on his special day.I usually wear casual outfits.Ethnics are something that I wear only on festivals and weddings. So being more of a casuals-wearing girl, jeans are something I cannot imagine my life without.Distressed denims are my favourite kind.I have even DIYed a few of my jeans and turned them into shredded denims. The one I am wearing today is not a DIYed though.I paired my shredded jeans with a turtleneck bat-wing sleeved top(what's with all those animal names :D he he).Well you are already aware of the turtleneck, I guess (coz it looks like a turtle's neck, duh !). And if you notice the sleeves, you will see they look like a bat's wing.Fashion is funny indeed. Have a look at the complete outfit.

OOTD : How to wear a trench coat this winter

Best thing about winters? TRENCH COATS ! Oh my god, they look so damn classy.I wish I had one in every colour.Actually I think I would have got them all if only they weren't so pricey 😦😦.But it is definitely worth owning at least one since they are never going out of style; nor can you ever be too old to wear one.

Before I come to my outfit post,I have a few tips for you to keep in mind while buying a trench coat that suits you the best.
According to your shape  If you are top heavy avoid anything bulky like heavy collars or embellishments or huge buckles. Also look for single breast coats to avoid looking too big.If you are generously blessed on the bottom half of your body, look for straight coats that are longer and do not fall midway or just below your hips(that is going to make you look bigger on the bottom). If you have a tiny bosom, look for trench coats that define your waist and have big collars.Double breast coats will flatter you.If you are leaner down the waist, wea…

OOTD : Black Magic

hey everyone,
How did you spend this Valentine?I am so happy its spring again. Can I please please have spring all year round?
Anyway I am back with another outfit post.I am so excited for this one. Why?Because I look pretty in this outfit 😄😄
I love Indian wear. But I don't usually wear them much. And when I do, I try to experiment.Because I don't want to make it all boring with the same kurtis and salwar/churidars.Check out how I wore my kurti today.

I recently got this ethnic black jacket with golden print.I really love it so much.Isn't it really gorgeous? You can buy it from the link at the end of this post.
So this jacket was a total show-stopper.I didn't want anything else to steal its limelight. So I wore it over a plain black kurti and black cropped jeans.Black and gold are my favourite combination.I have accessorised the whole outfit with golden accessories- a golden anklet, rings and a rose gold watch. My bright red painted nails and lipstick makes the whole outfi…

Slip Dress : wear it like the 'It' girls do

What's not to love in a slip dress? They are feminine. They are delicate. And boy! are they sexy. The only problem? They are not college/work appropriate.Or are they? *wink wink*
Fashionistas all around the globe are giving us major fashion inspiration these days by wearing their slip dresses over a tee.Go through instagram/pinterest and your feed will be flooded with this trend.I say, the boss is always right.I took inspiration from this trend and paired my black slip dress with a white tee(the classic) and this is how it turned out.

I wore my black dress over a white tee.You can also wear it over a striped one.

I experimented a little with the look by wrapping a plaid shirt around my waist. You can also tie a chambray shirt.Let it stand out from the base colours (white and black).

Looks like we are not getting over the chokers anytime soon, are we?

White sneakers are another huge trend taking over the fashion world at present. You will see them everywhere;with jeans, with shorts,wi…
